Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Public School (HPS) concluded its centenary celebrations with a power-packed finale, including a startup summit, golf tournament, and live concert.
The HPS StartX Entrepreneurship Summit kicked off the festivities, showcasing over 30 alumni-founded startups like DoctorC by Neehar, Mavq by Archita Bhat, Hornback by Nishith Parikh, SDG 3 Health by Pranav Nimmagadda, Assetvault by Vishnu Teja, Cryptoforce by Akshit Khanna, Keus Automation by Subram Kapoor, and NatFirst by Dr. Aman.
The summit, fostering innovation and collaboration, marked the launch of a global Alumni founders' community for ongoing mentorship programs and entrepreneurial support.
Esteemed speakers like Nandan Reddy of Swiggy and Satish Reddy from JSC Engineering discussed India's entrepreneurial growth, emphasizing the role of infrastructure and AI in shaping future innovations. Subram Kapoor stressed the importance of tailoring solutions to Indian consumers, while K.S. Parag highlighted the significance of continuous innovation and responsible AI harnessing.
A Startup Pitch Event propelled six alumni-led startups towards securing 4.5 cr in funding from Alumni Investors, including contributions from industry leaders like Ashish Bajaj of eLear Solutions and Sailesh Sigatapu of Anthill Ventures.
Notable startups featured were Evate, transforming Electric Vehicle Adoption and Sustainability, Panoplia.io offering secure digital transactions, Svasta providing AI-enabled continuous Remote Monitoring in health tech, Hitwicket contributing to the Indian gaming industry, Wiz Edufin with fun mini-lessons for personal finance, and Harmony aiding MSMEs in productivity and profitability monitoring.
The event also offered speed networking sessions, empowering masterclasses on Growth Mindset and Design Thinking, and a Vintage Car Show showcasing classic automobiles.
Additionally, activities at the Primary School Zone, Basalath Jah Stadium's exclusive Golf Tournament for Alumni, and a lively HPS Alumni Sports Reunion, along with historical exhibits in the Hyderabad Public School Museum, enriched the celebration.
